As part of its efforts to support the educational process and provide a conducive learning environment, QNB Egypt inaugurated Nazlet El-Shobak Preparatory School for Basic Education in El-Badrashin, Giza Governorate, following a comprehensive renovation and capacity upgrade carried out in cooperation with Sonaa El-Kheir Foundation for Development, a member of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work.
The inauguration was attended by Dr. Ahmed El-Ansary; Governor of Giza, Mr. Ali Abdel Raouf; Chief Operating Officer of QNB Egypt, Dr. Hend Abdel Halim; Deputy Governor of Giza, Ambassador Nabila Makram; Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, Dr. Mohamed El-Okby; Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Strategic Communication and Media and the ministry’s official spokesperson, Dr. Mostafa Zamzam; Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Sonaa El-Kheir Foundation for Development, and Mr. Hany Abdel Fattah; CEO of Sonaa El-Kheir Foundation for Development.
The attendees toured the school and praised the efforts of Sonaa El-Kheir Foundation and its cooperation with the bank in implementing the development work, which contributes to supporting the educational process. They also affirmed their support for all initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education and providing a suitable environment that helps students achieve better academic outcomes.
This initiative comes within the foundation’s program to develop and upgrade educational facilities in cooperation with QNB Egypt, which has recently exerted significant efforts to renovate several schools across the country.
The renovation work included maintenance of the internal plumbing system, replacement of drainage connections, complete renewal of electrical systems, maintenance of doors and windows, and full interior and exterior painting. The work also covered restoration, plastering, and finishing of the school fence, installation of ceramic tiles, and the addition of new bathroom fixtures including bases and sinks.
The project also included installing fans in classrooms, offices, and other rooms, placing school signage, maintaining iron gates, repairing desks, installing classroom boards and blackboards, establishing a computer lab, and constructing an artificial turf playground and interlock paving, providing a more attractive and supportive learning environment for students.
