QNBAA Protocol agreement with Misr Al kheir

Signing a cooperation protocol between QNB ALAHLI and Misr El Kheir to develop the villages of Dakahlia Governorate under "Hayah Karima" initiative

In continuation of QNB ALAHLI's role as one of the largest private sector banks in Egypt, and in continuation of the bank's efforts in community work to improve the standard of life of citizens in all social responsibility activities, QNB ALAHLI signed a cooperation agreement with Misr El-Kheir Foundation, a pioneer in charitable work, to support the activities carried out by the Foundation in the presidential initiative "Hayah Karima".
The cooperation protocol was signed by Mr. Mohamed Bedeir, CEO of QNB -Egypt, and Prof. Dr. Ali Gomaa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Misr El-Kheir Foundation, in the presence of a large number of the bank's and foundation's leaders.
The CEO of QNB ALAHLI stressed that the bank attaches full importance to the social responsibility file and places it on the most prominent agendas and interests of the bank because of its positive effects that resonate on all members of society, explaining that the bank has been keen since the launch of the “Hayah Karima” initiative in January 2019 to participate in it, as this initiative is the first of its kind, which aims to fully improve the lives of citizens in the sectors of education, health, economic empowerment, home rehabilitation, and roofing houses, In addition to paying attention to people of determination, youth and women, and providing small projects for these groups in order to achieve an income-generating return, which contributes to the development of families and villages to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Ali Gomaa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Misr El-Kheir Foundation, said during the signing of the protocol, that the cooperation highlights the duty and role of Misr El-Kheir Foundation as one of the civil society institutions in Egypt with the social role of QNB ALAHLI as a huge financial institution, stressing that cooperation gives hope for the benefit of people, reaching all those who deserve it, and providing them with the necessary assistance.
Dr. Ali Gomaa added that human development is the main mission of Misr El-Kheir Foundation, saying: "Human development is what has succeeded the Foundation for more than 15 years to reach real results on the ground," noting that cooperation between civil society is carried out for the sake of community security and for doing good, and therefore it is a good project and provides reconstruction for people and establishes an argument for people, and thus the earth is populated and this is how we make a man and structure buildings together.
He pointed out that the development of schools, support for economic empowerment and vocational training for women, standing with women breadwinners, supporting health entities, and what is done in the winter campaign and other areas is the beginning of this fruitful cooperation.
In a related context, Dr. Mohamed Rifai, CEO of Misr El-Kheir Foundation, explained in his speech that the cooperation protocol includes a project to develop the Martyr Mohamed Abdel Razek School in Ezbet Al-Fasha of the village of Abu Galal, the educational administration in Sherbin, Dakahlia Governorate (Hayah Karima).
And the implementation of the project to support economic empowerment in the villages of the center of Minya Al-Nasr, which aims to implement projects to generate income commercial - craft - service projects in order to provide income that provides a decent life for the beneficiaries through cooperation with Misr El-Kheir Foundation.
The CEO of Misr El-Kheir Foundation added that the cooperation protocol includes the implementation of the training project ending with employment for women, which aims to support the financing of vocational training for women breadwinners and the implementation of projects collected for them at the end of the training, as well as the project to support prosthetic devices in the centers of (Sherbin and Minya El-Nasr) with the aim of supporting the provision of prosthetic devices in order to meet the needs of people with disabilities.
Dr. Mohamed Rifai pointed out that the cooperation protocol also includes a project to support health entities at the Nabaroh Center, which aims to support Nabaroh Central Hospital with a nerve and muscle drawing device, in addition to a project to support the winter campaign (housing and warmth 2023) with the aim of roofing a number of houses in the governorates of (Beni Suef / Ismailia / Aswan / Gharbia).
