Doha-27 January 2013 - QNB, the largest financial institution in the State of Qatar, and the MENA region, announced its platinum sponsorship to the second version of the upcoming International Soccer Cup Championship -under 18, the tournament will kick-off at Aspire on Monday, January 28th in Doha.
This sponsorship stems from QNB’s social responsibility program “CSR” that aims at giving back to the community, as part of being a good corporate citizen, and as a fact that QNB is the largest financial institution in the State of Qatar and the wider MENA region, that supports most of stat’s initiatives specially in sports. QNB makes sure to reflect those initiates through its huge business network and its branches spreading in more than 24 countries worldwide.
18 teams from different parts of the globe will run for cup in this tournament. Competing teams are divided into 4 qualifying groups running for playoffs, first group will see teams of Real Madrid, Zamalek, Aspire international, second group will see teams of Liverpool, Aspire-Qatar, and Tarajy, Third group will see Paris Saint-Germaine, while the forth group will have teams of Inter Milan, Polka juniors and Yokohama.
QNB sponsored the second version of this tournament last year that attracted a good number of employees, families and a large a number of clients and public who praised and enjoyed the event during which Paris Saint-Germaine qualified to the final and got the title. QNB is the business partner of Paris Saint-Germaine.
