As part of its strategy to attract national talent and help them hone their skills to attain positions of growing responsibility, Qatar National Bank (QNB) announced the launch of a new “Talents and Skills” recruitment program.
This is one of the most important campaigns launched by the bank. It provides skilled and experienced Qataris with opportunities that fulfill their dreams and ambitions and suits their professional experience and education.
This campaign complements QNB's role in providing enhanced work opportunities. In addition to the Bank’s annual participation in career events such as Qatar Career Fair since inception as well as participating in career days hosted by institutions based in Qatar Foundation's Education City, the Bank also supports similar events at Qatar University. The bank in September participated in a Qatar University career event.
Through this campaign QNB aims to offer job and growth opportunities to experienced Qatari citizens in various banking and non-banking departments at the bank. Some of these jobs will be announced within few days and applications and resumes will be received through a dedicated e mail to ensure applicants’ privacy.
QNB which already has the largest Qatarisation ratio in the banking sector, is keen to elevate this ratio and nurture talent to keep up with the overall growth of the QNB Group locally and internationally. The Bank is also particularly mindful of the steady growth being witnessed in the country in the field of banking and financial services.
QNB provides employees with regular training and development programs as well as career placement opportunities to university students in Qatar in addition to an inclusive program for career development. In 2011, QNB delivered specialized Management & Leadership Development programs for QNB Managers and Heads in cooperation with the US-based Banker’s Academy and the renowned Franklin Covey Institute.
QNB is intensifying its efforts in preparation for the next Qatar Career Fair, which welcomes companies and institutions in all sectors of the state to continue contributing to developing citizens, in addition to supporting the human development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030.
