As part of its comprehensive CSR program
QNB, “One of the World’s Strongest Banks” has organized a humanitarian visit to young patients at The Pediatrics Department – Long-Stay Division at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). QNB Senior Executives made the annual visit as part of the Group’s comprehensive CSR Programme of activities.
The visit included tours of different divisions of the Pediatrics Department, wherein QNB officials were informed of the types of patients HMC accommodates and the care it provides them. They also visited the special quarters in which HMC provides patients with various entertainment and recreation options.
The QNB officials also listened to a thorough explanation of HMC’s medical services, medical facilities, and the special family waiting areas in the hospital. The QNB officials also offered gifts to all the children, each according to case and in accordance with relevant HMC standards.
Mr. Ali Rashid Al- Mohannadi, QNB Executive General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, expressed his happiness at visiting the child patients at HMC, stating that this initiative is integral to QNB’s humanitarian campaigns toward society.
Al-Mohannadi also stressed the bank’s desire to visit the young patients annually and provide small gifts as a token of QNB’s support and best wishes for their recovery. It was hoped, he added, that these visits were welcomed by the young children and helped to raise their morale and gladden their hearts.
QNB’s EGM and COO also praised HMC’s efforts to offer the exceptional care and treatment being received by all the children in the hospital.
In response, HMC’s officials lauded the kind gesture and the visit by QNB officials to bring a smile to these young patients’ faces, calling upon all establishments to follow the bank’s example in its annual initiative.
