Doha, 6 May 2010 - Qatar National Bank (QNB) announced the winners of the first draw of its campaign to award customers transferring their salaries to QNB.

During the campaign period which lasts until 22 June 2010, each month, QNB will award one winner with 12 times their monthly salary subject to a total of QR100,000. Another QNB salaried customer among those who applied during the campaign period for a Personal or Vehicle loan, will be a winner of up to six months loan repayments to be made on their behalf by the bank, subject to a total of QR 50,000.

Mr. Alagiri Samy Velusamy, an Indian citizen, won the six free loan installments. The draw was held for customers who were eligible on April 25th.

The lucky winners of this campaign are selected from among QNB’s Salaried Account Holders, including existing and newly enrolled customers. As part of this promotion, QNB is also offering its salaried account customers the opportunity to obtain a personal or vehicle loan featuring the most competitive loan management fees available.

The second draw will be held in May 2010, while the third and final lucky draw will be held in June including all customers who have become eligible prior to 22 June 2010.

QNB salaried accounts do not require the maintenance of minimum account balances and new customers will receive Debit Cards and a complimentary cheque book, as well as instant enrollment to the electronic banking suite of services (eazylife) which consist of eazyinternet, eazyATM, eazyphone, eazymobile, eazySMS and eazystatement. These channels provide access to a range of QNB banking services from home, the office or on the move.

QNB offers personal and vehicle loan products tailored to the requirements of each customer and all loans offered are subject to the terms and conditions of the Bank. QNB’s loan management fees are among the lowest in the market.
