iPhone and iPod Touch prizes distributed to winners
Doha, 26 May 2011 - QNB has announced the winners of the second week of its latest Use & Win campaign, which is awarding new iPhone and iPod Touch handsets to customers completing Qtel payments and top-ups at any QNB ATM in the country.
The lucky draw was open to all Qtel customers in the country and included both QNB customers and customers using the ATM cards of other banks to complete their transactions. The winners of the second week’s draw included both QNB and non-QNB customers.
The winners of the iPod were: Hlal Mohd Hlal, Said Chemmadan, Yaman Hasnawi, Rhommel David, Beverly Karen Crowther, Alia Al Abdulla and Syeda Mujahid. The winners of the iPhone were: Khouloud Al Hail, Faisal Al Hidous, Balsam Abdulla, Ashraf Hammad, Jeevanand Bhaskar and Nizar Ali Najim.
This promotion is part of a five-month campaign, which started on 2 May 2011 and ends on 30 September 2011, during which QNB will offer anyone paying their Kahramaa and Qtel monthly bills or purchasing Qtel’s prepaid services through the Bank’s ATM network, the chance to win a grand prize Jeep Grand Cherokee.
For every QR50 spent, participants will get additional chances to win. In addition, 20 monthly winners will have all their bills of the month paid through a QNB ATM, paid off by the Bank.
Qtel customers enjoy the special bonus of winning weekly prizes of either an iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4 (32GB).
QNB provides access to a range of Qtel’s prepaid services including Hala top-ups, Ebhar internet vouchers, Q-Cards for landlines and payphones, and Dawli vouchers for international calling. Post-paid customers can pay their Shahry, mobile broadband, residential fixed line or Mozaic package bills instantly.
To register for the prize draws, customers are required to complete a one-time registration at any QNB ATM while more information can be obtained by sending a SMS stating the word “WIN” to 92776.
QNB will notify the Qtel winners each week. All registered entrants in the campaign will be eligible for the grand prize draw in October 2011, when 20 lucky winners will have their entire bills for the month reimbursed, subject to a maximum of QR2,000 per winner monthly .
This campaign is part of the QNB’s plan to provide further functionality and rewards to support the everyday customer’s need to bank on the move and have access to not just traditional banking services but also have access to essential payment solutions around the clock via the Bank’s e-channels.
