QNB, the Official Middle East and Africa Supporter of the FIFA World Cup 2022™, announced the participation of a number of students from Qatar Banking Studies and Business Administration Secondary School as volunteers to sell the commemorative banknotes for World Cup.
Selected students had a unique opportunity to sell the commemorative banknotes in a number of QNB branches during the month-long tournament.
This initiative comes as part of the Group's efforts to celebrate the first FIFA World Cup 2022™ in the Middle East and the Arab world, and it reflects its keenness to make this unprecedented historic event a success.
It also provides access to volunteer opportunities for better outcomes for youth and their community within the bank's vision to promote youth volunteerism as one of the important pillars deeply rooted in its strategy.
Mr. Abdullah Nasser Al-Khalifa, QNB General Manager Group Human Capital and School Board member, said:” We are very happy to welcome students of the Qatar Banking Studies and Business Administration Secondary School to join this initiative aimed at supporting the efforts exerted by QNB to introduce the Qatar 2022 commemorative banknotes to the public.
Featuring the most important stadiums of the historic tournament, we hope that these banknotes will deliver a legacy to continue beyond the World Cup.”
