Doha, 21 October, 2015 – In continuation of its CSR initiative to support the elderly, QNB, The Leading Financial Institution in the Middle East and North Africa, provided Center for Care and Empowerment of the Elderly people ”IHSAN” with 3 Honda Odyssey vehicles.
The step aimed to bolstering the Center transportation fleet and facilitating the transportation of its staff who visit and provide home care to the elderly and people with special needs. This comes as an addition to QNB’s efforts, and is testament to its firm commitment towards the dignity and wellbeing of the elderly in Qatari and across its global footprint.
QNB’s partnership continues to enable “IHSAN” to provide state-of-the-art services for members of the “Homecare for the elderly” program, wherein the extra vehicles provided by the Group will increase IHSAN’s fleet of vehicles which the Center will use to provide premium services to the elderly in several areas of Qatar by visiting the elderly at their homes and giving them the help and support they need in the comfort of their homes. The fleet is also used to transport the elderly should they need treatment, care, or services.
QNB’s step was highly lauded by Mr. Mubarak Bin Abdul-Aziz Al Khalifa, General Manager of “IHSAN” who said: “QNB is always there to help, and we truly appreciate their generosity and continued support.”
