Doha, 21 February 2010 - QNB Al Islami announced the launch of a new campaign rewarding customers transferring their salaries to their QNB Al Islami accounts with vehicle finance including full ownership of the vehicle.
The campaign is in response to customer demand for enhanced Sharia-compliant vehicle finance options. This campaign will also be available to existing customers who transfer their salaries to the Bank based on the terms and conditions of the vehicle finance applied for.
As part of this campaign, QNB Al Islami will provide the vehicle finance repayable in 84 months for Qataris and 60 months for residents with salaries of QR10,000 and higher. Eligible customers with less than QR10,000 in monthly income will receive the finance payable in 48 monthly installments. To be eligible for the vehicle finance, customers must have a minimum salary of QR7,500 transferred to their QNB Al Islami account each month.
QNB Al Islami accounts do not require the maintenance of minimum account balances. New customers will receive Debit Cards and a complimentary cheque book, as well as instant enrollment to the eBanking suite, eazylife, which consists of eazyinternet, eazyatm, eazyphone, eazymobile, eazysms and eazystatement. These channels provide access to a range of banking services from home, the office or on the move.
QNB Al Islami offers a host of consumer finance options including vehicle, property and personal finance and all these products and services offered by the Bank are certified by the Bank’s Sharia Board.
Among the other products available are Call Investment Accounts, Savings Investment Accounts, Fixed Investment Deposits, and finance based on the principles of Ijara, Istisnaa and Tawarruq, as well as other products and services to meet the diverse requirements of the Bank’s customers.
QNB Al Islami is also the only bank in Qatar to offer an Islamic co-branded credit card in association with MasterCard and Qatar Airways. This card provides customers with the fastest and easiest way to earn Qmiles, the reward points of the airline's loyalty program.
