Doha, 19 January 2020 -- QNB, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, announced a new partnership between its Life Rewards Program and the award-winning educational and entertainment concept, the edutainment city KidZania Doha, located in the heart of Aspire Park, of whom QNB is an Official Industry Partner.

QNB’s Life Rewards loyalty program rewards customers from the first time they open their salary account, to maintaining their average balance, providing a good referral, and every transaction they make with the QNB Life Rewards credit cards. In addition, customers are eligible to earn Life Rewards points on their international transactions using their debit cards.

Besides being simple to use, as well as boasting cutting-edge safety and security features, cardholders are automatically rewarded each time they use their card locally or abroad at both Point of Sale machines and e-commerce transactions. The points can then be redeemed in hundreds of outlets in Qatar and overseas.

QNB’s partnership with KidZania Doha stems from its long-standing commitment to supporting child development and education as part of the QNB Group’s diverse CSR program.

Commenting on the dynamic loyalty program and the partnership, General Manager Group Retail Banking Ms. Heba Al-Tamimi said, “QNB Life Rewards is the first integrated bank-wide loyalty program in Qatar, where customers earn Life Rewards points via various retail banking products and channels. KidZania Doha now joins QNB’s list of more than 600 outlets in Qatar, where customers can redeem their Life Rewards points. Our partnership with KidZania Doha falls under QNB’s new category of redemption partners, Edutainment for Children.”

KidZania Doha is a place where children get together to make their dreams of a better world come true. They get to discover their interests by experiencing more than 60 role-playing activities. QNB’s involvement is part of the role-play activities, which provides children with the ability to learn basic banking services through its miniature branch and ATMs.

Children can spend, save, and invest their kidZos, KidZania’s currency. Through the exciting role-playing concept at QNB’s branch, children can discover the challenges of being a banker. It empowers tomorrow’s generation to be financially aware and responsible.

The QNB Group’s presence through its subsidiaries and associate companies extends to more than 31 countries across three continents, providing a comprehensive range of advanced products and services. The total number of employees is more than 29,000 operating through 1,100 locations, with an ATM network of more than 4,300 machines.
