Doha, 16 May 2019 – QNB Group, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, has announced the opening of its new branch in the Musheirib Metro Station, thus being the first bank to open a branch in the new station.
The opening of the new branch is testament of QNB's keenness to provide its customers with easy access to leading banking services anywhere in Qatar or through its international network.
The new branch is the latest addition to the Group’s network of local branches, which cover all parts of Qatar and continue to expand to all emerging regions in the country.
The largest Musheireb station falls at the heart of the Doha Metro with the Red, Green and Gold lines all meeting at this point, and represents one of the world's biggest Metro stations
The station also gains increased importance with the approach of the 2022 World Cup, with its position at one end of the Gold line enabling it to connect passengers to all the World Cup stadiums linked by Metro sites, thus forming a hub for the crowds attending the global sporting event.
