QNB Financial Services (QNBFS), a fully owned subsidiary company of QNB Group, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, received official recognition by the Qatar Stock Exchange, in honour of its significant contribution and efforts in successfully implementing and launching the new Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE)’s trading system.
The recognition was announced during the bell ringing ceremony hosted recently by QSE to celebrate the successful launch of the new electronic platform, in the presence of a number of officials from the QSE, the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA), Edaa (Qatar CSD) and a number of banks and financial institutions.
The award demonstrates QNBFS ‘s commitment and dedication to support the new trading system, which offers unique features and innovative trading tools and benefits that could contribute in attracting more local and foreign investments and improving customer service experience. The new platform will contribute to increasing competition of the national economy in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, enhancing the country’s position as a financial and trade hub regionally and internationally.
