Doha, 12 February 2023 – QNB, one of the largest financial institutions in the Middle East and Africa, organized its annual blood donation campaign for its employees in cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC)’s Blood Donor Center.
The campaign, which took place at QNB Mathaf Tower building, aims at contributing to supporting the blood bank stock at Hamad Corporation and ensuring blood supply on annual basis, while raising awareness of the importance and benefits of blood donations in the community.
The blood donation drive is one of QNB’s many CSR health related initiatives that the Bank holds in cooperation with HMC and other leading institutions in the State of Qatar and across its international network to support the communities in which it operates and to promote public health and wellbeing.
Ms. Heba Ali Al Tamimi, Senior Executive Vice President of QNB Group Communications, said: "We are proud of the continuous cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation, the leading medical institution in the country. Our message today is to encourage everyone to donate blood regularly and to contribute in maintaining adequate blood supply to ensure national health security.”
