Doha, 30 April 2009 - Qatar National Bank (QNB) announced the launch of a Co-branded Credit Card Redemption promotion, exclusively for QNB Qatar Airways Co-branded MasterCard Credit Card customers. The promotion runs from 03 May to 02 June 2009.
During the period of this promotion, QNB and QNB Al Islami Co-branded MasterCard credit card holders who are Privilege Club members can redeem airline tickets to any destination at any category at 50% less the regular Qmiles required. For instance, a round trip to Dubai worth 6000 Qmiles can now be redeemed using just 3000 Qmiles. Qmiles are the reward points of Qatar Airways’ loyalty program.
Airline tickets may be booked or upgraded with a one year flying window from the date of booking. To benefit from this promotion, QNB customers must process their bookings online during the promotion period through the Qatar Airways Privilege Club website (www.qmiles.com).
QNB, a leader in the provision of integrated banking solutions to its customers, launched this promotion to coincide with the highly busy booking period when families book their tickets to travel during the summer break and school vacations.
QNB and QNB Al Islami Co-branded MasterCard credit cards provide customers with the best and fastest way to accumulate Qmiles. Standard cardholders earn one Qmile for every QR 10 spent while Gold cardholders earn one Qmile for every QR 8 spent and Platinum cardholders earn one Qmile for every QR 6 spent.
QNB was the first bank to launch the Qatar Airways Co-branded credit card in November 2005 in collaboration with its strategic partners Qatar Airways and MasterCard Worldwide.
