Offering financial growth opportunities, enhanced customer benefits and launches Islamic banking products & services “QNB First Al Islami”

Doha, 10 October 2010 - Qatar National Bank (QNB) has enhanced its priority banking service “QNB First” with new service upgrades and unveiled for the for the first time QNB First Al Islami services that are certified by the Bank’s Sharia Board.

QNB First is a priority banking service featuring a suite of products designed to serve members’ personal banking needs and help them realize their personal financial goals. These include unique benefits and expert solutions to manage finances, investments, and promote wealth creation.

Priority Banking members also benefit from preferential tariffs and charges covering many banking activities such as personal, mortgage and vehicle financing.

In addition to QNB First Wealth Centers located at key QNB and QNB Al Islami Branches in Qatar, members now have access to a dedicated Member Care Center which offers a complete range of phone banking services around the clock.

Services include many daily account services as well as priority replacement and reissue of credit cards, cheque books, setting up standing orders, amending card usage limits, processing fixed deposit services, and processing fund transfers, among many other end-to-end banking functions that can now be completed on the phone.

Upon enrolling in the program, every member is assigned a dedicated Customer Relationship Executive. These financial consultants deliver a range of services to meet personal financial goals using tools such as investment plans with long and medium-term growth potential and a basket of other investment options including international equity, bond, hedge and money market funds, as well as fixed deposit accounts.

Members also receive priority allocation when investing in local and International funds. These include QNB’s Al Watani Fund Series which is one of the best performing funds investing in Qatar Exchange listed stock, as well as an elite portfolio of international investment funds.

QNB First members will soon benefit from dedicated property advisory and finance services during their travels to Europe through branches in London and Paris. These will include helping them acquire international property for personal use or as investments.

Members will receive World MasterCard which, in addition to its prestige and inclusive lifestyle benefits, awards the highest proportion of Qmiles to cash spent. Qmiles are the loyalty points offered to Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club. A complimentary debit card which ensures global access to their accounts through thousands of ATMs worldwide will also be provided.

To enroll in this priority banking service, members must have a monthly income of QR35,000 or have deposits worth QR350,000 in active management at QNB.
